Welcome to our website.
The creation of the Austin-Healey Owners Club in 1969 was the result of three Austin-Healey owners who had enthusiastically watched the racing feats of Ross Bond in his legendary Austin-Healey deciding it was time a Club was formed in New South Wales. The first meeting was held in rooms at BMC, Zetland on 9 March, 1969. Cards were printed and placed on Austin-Healeys to advise owners of the formation of the Club. Clearly there were other owners who had the same idea regarding Club formation and membership numbers soon increased. Ross Bond is still Club Patron and several of those original members are still actively involved in the Club.
Since those early days the Austin-Healey Owners Club has continued to evolve. There are still members who crave the thrill of competing in competition events, while others prefer the relaxed sensation of the social scene. In the past we have held our Concours at various locations, and more recently we have held the Concours in conjunction with the All British Display at the Kings School, North Parramatta. We are an enthusiastic and friendly Club with a passion for what we unashamedly believe are the best looking British sports cars! For information regarding future events, have a look at ‘What’s On’.
If you’d like to find out more about the Club, are interested in buying an Austin-Healey or if we can be of further assistance, why not come along to our monthly meeting at Rydalmere Bowling Club, Park Road, Rydalmere on the second Wednesday of each month.
